Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about generating viral YouTube Shorts with AI
How do I turn a long YouTube video into YouTube Shorts with AI?
Simply paste any YouTube video URL or upload your MP4 into AiClipy. Our AI scans the transcript for viral hooks, automatically crops the frame to 9:16, generates dynamic animated captions, and renders ready-to-post Shorts in less than 2 minutes.
Is AiClipy free to make YouTube Shorts?
AiClipy offers accessible plans starting at $6.99/mo with zero watermarks so you can create high-retention YouTube Shorts with all 43+ premium caption presets and auto-cropping features.
What makes a YouTube Short go viral according to the algorithm?
The YouTube Shorts algorithm prioritizes two primary signals: Viewed vs. Swiped Away percentage (hook rate) and Average Percentage Viewed (retention). AiClipy optimizes both by extracting punchy 3-second visual hooks and adding continuous dynamic subtitles that prevent viewers from swiping away.
Can I monetize YouTube Shorts created with AI video editors?
Yes! YouTube allows monetization of Shorts via the YouTube Partner Program (Shorts revenue sharing) as long as the content provides transformative value, commentary, or curated educational/entertainment themes.
